Payer conversion
The share of users who pay for something in a period.
Facts checked against sources onWhat does Payer conversion mean?
Payer conversion is the number of paying users divided by total active users in a period. It is used for freemium apps, games and free trials. Example: 12,000 of 400,000 monthly users make a purchase, a payer conversion of 3 percent. Small changes matter: lifting conversion from 3 to 4 percent raises revenue by a third if spend per payer stays the same. Better onboarding, first-purchase offers and well-timed paywalls are common levers. For trials, the same idea is the share of free-trial users who become paying subscribers.
