A gamified assessment is a timed, interactive online test, usually taken before any human interview, that judges how you think rather than what you know about business: defining a problem, breaking it down, prioritizing, working with data and deciding under time pressure. McKinsey's Solve is the best-known example. Formats change, so read the instructions the firm sends you.
